Natural birth

Our ancestors always appreciated nature, many aspects of life were seen as normal and their timing was respected. However, due to changes in the natural rhythm of human beings, we began to demand performance, making it (un)necessary to accelerate some processes, creating a cult, a structure, an anxiety around this unique, magical, and special moment that is childbirth. This has practically ended the natural process, creating a veritable “Birth Industry.”
The myth that a C-section is painless has generated a field, an aura of false brilliance and security that, for fear of failure, many women choose this method for (in)security. This makes a lot of sense, since C-sections are part of the system created by MAN.
However, you are only born once…
This moment has the right to happen in its own time, at its own pace. In its unique magical moment where all the turbulence culminates in the emergence of a new and incredible being. We need to know that childbirth is in the mind of the pregnant woman.
If she, and only she, makes the decision firm in her mind, that will be the strength she will have for success in a natural birth.
For this, the pregnant woman needs someone who has general knowledge about everything that happens during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Supported by reliable information and the experiences of other women, she will be emotionally able to safely complete a good natural birth. Without medical interventions or intoxicating pharmacology, respecting herself and the baby that is arriving.
The “pains” of childbirth begin with mild contractions that intensify (each woman has her own timing), increasing in strength and duration, and when they reach their peak, the pains simply disappear, as if by magic. Everything turns into happiness when you see your long-awaited and beloved newborn baby.
The first hour after birth is called the “Golden Hour,” when the baby should stay with the mother and breastfeed if possible (this helps with the natural delivery of the placenta), waiting for the cord to stop pulsing before cutting it or not… but that’s another story…
There is no need to bathe the baby, as the white wax, called vernix, is absorbed by the newborn’s skin. This is very good for their skin.
Finally, the importance of the Support Network should be emphasized. This is nothing more than people close to the pregnant woman (father, partner, mother-in-law, etc).
They need to be informed and up to date and in agreement with the pregnant woman’s ideas, supporting her, respecting her, empowering her, and helping her in this beautiful, magical, and very important moment.
